Environmental and economic indicators

Each indicator includes an analysis, a technical supplement and a few charts describing the major trends and the underlying data sources. Hyper-text links are used to tie the individual indicators to detailed statistical tables. The system also features:

• the capability to display the detailed statistical tables and to download the data in standard spreadsheet formats;
• an electronic version of Concepts, Sources and Methods of the Canadian System of Environment and Resource Accounts, the comprehensive guidebook to the accounting system that supports Econnections;
• a printed publication for quick reference to the summary indicators and statistical tables.
