About the analytical report
The projections report is designed to provide an overview of plausible future population trends and has three main parts:
A methodology section that clearly and simply describes the base population, the assumptions on the components of population growth, the projection scenarios chosen and the methods used
An appendix containing detailed data on which the analysis is based, namely projection data by age group and sex and by component for six projection scenarios to 2056 for Canada and to 2031 for the provinces and territories
The population projections report is written in precise, accessible language and includes a bibliography and a glossary of relevant terms.
About the CD-ROM
