Alan Howard King: The Census of Agriculture's featured artist

The original oil painting gracing the Census of Agriculture's main page is by Ottawa artist Alan King and was commissioned by the Census of Agriculture especially for the cover of the 2004 edition of Canadian Agriculture at a Glance. Alan's clients have been as varied as Maclean's Magazine, the Toronto Star, Readers' Digest, Playboy, American Conservative magazine, Canada Post and the National Capital Commission. Alan was the editorial cartoonist for The Ottawa Citizen for almost 20 years.
