There is a growing demand for more sophisticated information on postsecondary education. Policy-makers require more detailed information on a broader range of activities than previously available. PSIS has been designed to respond to this need.
PSIS is the national survey that enables Statistics Canada to publish information on enrolments and graduates of Canadian postsecondary education institutions. Implemented in the year 2000, PSIS has begun to replace the three surveys that are currently used: the University Student Information System (USIS), the Community College Student Information System (CCSIS) and the Trade and Vocational Student Survey (TVOC).
Whether you are a respondent, student or data user, this site will provide you with the required information on PSIS. For prompt consultation, we suggest that you utilize the site map.
Note:
The Enhanced Student Information System (ESIS) will now be called the Postsecondary Student Information System (PSIS).
