The organizing committee of Statistics Canada’s 2010 Methodology Symposium, entitled “Social Statistics: The Interplay among Censuses, Surveys and Administrative Data”, thanks you for presenting your paper at our conference from October 26 to 29, 2010, in Ottawa, Ontario.
Statistics Canada is a bilingual organization (English and French) and all of the presentations and proceedings from the Symposium will be translated. Translation can be a lengthy process and therefore it is important that we receive information from you in a timely manner in order to translate properly the material. For this reason, we ask you to respect the requested submission dates.
We remind you that the final version of your manuscript is due by December 17, 2010 for its translation and inclusion in the Symposium's Proceedings. Including references and appendices, the manuscript must not exceed six pages in length (for contributed sessions) or eight pages in length (for invited sessions). More detail on the format of the manuscript, including a template, is discussed in Appendix A. We strongly encourage you to use it for your manuscript. If planning to use any other software, please check with us first.
Manuscripts may be submitted in either French or English. Since the Proceedings will be published in both languages, your punctual submission is essential for Statistics Canada to have the time required to translate the manuscripts. Authors should submit their manuscripts as an attachment to an email message.
