Canadian business patterns: Revenue ranges

A new CD-ROM product, available today, expands the basis on which data users can analyse the demographics of businesses.
Canadian business patterns: Revenue ranges offers clients a count of businesses on the basis of a range of revenue levels. Clients can now analyse businesses on the basis of industry, revenue and geographic area. This data can be complemented with the existing Canadian business patterns CD, which offers counts of businesses by employment size ranges.
This is an extremely useful product for a wide range of users, including policy-makers, new companies and municipal planners.
Tables may be requested for all provinces and territories, as well as census agglomerations and census metropolitan areas. Data are provided at the three-digit level of the North American Industry Classification System, encompassing about 99 industries, or sub-sectors, and by six revenue ranges. Safeguards have been taken to protect confidentiality.
The CD-ROM Canadian business patterns: Revenue ranges (61F0102XCB) is now available for the reference period December 2000. The cost for extractions varies from $200 to $1,000, depending on the complexity of the request.
