Tuesday, April 20, 2004 Employer pension plans (trusteed pension funds)2002 biennial censusThe results of the biennial census of trusteed pension funds are now available as a set of printed tables, free. These tables provide data on revenues, expenditures, and assets cross-tabulated by the following classification variables: contributory status, type of plan, asset size group, membership size group, type of organization, sector, and investment decision. As well, there are some secondary cross-tabulations of the classification variables themselves. Users wanting more timely data should use the quarterly data from the Quarterly Estimates of Trusteed Pension Funds Available on CANSIM, tables 280-0002, 280-0003 and 280-0004. Definitions, data sources and methods: survey numbers, including related surveys, 2607 and 2608.
