Tuesday, June 29, 2004 Travel Arrangement Services2002 (preliminary)An analytical report based on the 2002 Annual Survey of Travel Arrangement Services is now available. The data in the report are based on a panel of establishments representing the travel agency and tour operator industries (North American Industry Classification System category 5615). This report was prepared in collaboration with the Canadian Tourism Commission. The report highlights the travel arrangement services industry in the context of prevailing economic conditions for 2002. The report also looks at detailed characteristics such as client base, revenue by type of service, and employment data from the travel arrangement service industry in Canada. Definitions, data sources and methods: survey number 2423. The detailed analytical report will be posted on the Canadian Tourism Commission website (www.canadatourism.com) at a later date.
