Production and value of wildlife pelts

2001 (revised) and 2002 (preliminary)

Trappers harvested $23.6 million worth of wildlife pelts in 2002, down 2.6% from 2001. Ontario, Quebec and Manitoba accounted for about 60% of the total value.
