Health Reports: Deaths involving firearms, 2002
The rate of deaths involving firearms declined by more than one-half between 1979 and 2002, according to a new report based on the most recent data available from the Canadian Mortality Data Base.

Movie theatres and drive-ins, 2003/04
Canadians' interest in going to the movies ebbed in 2003/04. Movie attendance at theatres and drive-ins combined dropped 4.6%, halting an upward trend of more than a decade. At the same time, the industry was hit with a drop in box office receipts, total revenues and profits.
