Canadian international merchandise trade, August 2005
Canada's merchandise exports to the world increased for the sixth time in the last eight months in August, thanks in large part to soaring natural gas prices. Energy imports also jumped to reach a record high of $3.0 billion as demand for gasoline peaked in August.

Longitudinal Survey of Immigrants to Canada, 2003
Two years after they arrived in Canada, prime working-age immigrants had made significant progress integrating into the labour force, but they still faced some challenges, according to the second wave of a longitudinal survey which examines how newcomers adjust over time.
