Tuesday, May 2, 2006 Electric power capability and load2003 Total generating capability of electric power in Canada increased by 2.3% in the fiscal year 2003/04 to 108 533 megawatts. Increased generating capability of nuclear and hydraulic stations was the main reason for this increase. The release of the 2003 data will be the last for this survey, which has been discontinued.
