Canadian economic accounts, first quarter 2006 and March 2006
Economic activity picked up in the first quarter as real gross domestic product advanced 0.9% on the heels of continued strength in investment and personal expenditure. In March, monthly output edged up 0.1% from February. A more detailed analysis is available in Canadian Economic Accounts Quarterly Review.
