Canadian economic accounts, third quarter 2006 and September 2006
The pace of economic activity was largely unchanged in the third quarter, following a pronounced slowing in the second quarter. Real gross domestic product advanced 0.4%, compared to 0.5% and 0.9% growth in the second and first quarters respectively. Economic production fell back in September (-0.3%), after having advanced in both July (+0.2%) and August (+0.3%).
