2007, 2008 (revised) and 2009 (preliminary) (Previous release)

Canadian farmers harvested 364,600 acres (147 554 hectares) of potatoes in 2009, resulting in 102,390,000 hundredweight (4 644 410 metric tonnes) being produced. This is down 1% from 2008.

The national yield in 2009 was up 1%. Area planted was down 1% with area harvested down 2%.
