The publication Health Indicators (Catalogue number82-221-X) is now available and includes updated health region level estimates on unemployment from 2006 to 2014, as well as population estimates and the dependency ratio from 2001 to 2014.
The Health Indicators publication includes over 80 indicators that measure the health of the Canadian population and the effectiveness of the health care system. Designed to provide comparable information at the health region and provincial/territorial levels, these data are produced from a wide range of the most recently available sources. Health regions are defined by the provinces and represent administrative areas or regions of interest to health authorities.
