Prices received by farmers in February for grains, oilseeds, specialty crops, cattle, hogs, poultry, eggs and dairy products are now available.
The February Alberta slaughter cattle price was $154.52 per hundredweight, down 3.8% from January and down 13.2% from February 2015 when the price was $177.98.
The Ontario grain corn price in February was $184.07 per tonne, down 2.5% from January and down 1.2% from February 2015 when the price was $186.25.

Farm commodity prices are now available in CANSIM. Prices for over 35 commodities are available by province, with some series going back 35 years. Data on prices are extracted from administrative files and derived from Statistics Canada surveys.
