Farm product prices, March 2016

Prices received by farmers in March for grains, oilseeds, specialty crops, cattle, hogs, poultry, eggs and dairy products are now available.

The March Ontario hogs price was $84.10 per hundredweight, down 1.2% from February, but up 15.5% from March 2015 when the price was $72.79.

The Saskatchewan dry pea price in March was $393.31 per tonne, down 1.5% from February, but up 34.9% from March 2015 when the price was $291.48.
