Shipments of urea within Canada decreased by 115 000 tonnes (-5.9%) from the third quarter of the 2014/2015 fertilizer year to 1.8 million tonnes in the third quarter of 2015/2016.
Despite the decline, urea continued to account for the largest number of tonnes of all fertilizer products shipped within Canada.

Third quarter data for the Fertilizer Shipments Survey were collected from 27 Canadian fertilizer companies from April 4 to 29, 2016.
