Lumber production by sawmills decreased 1.3% from March to 5 881.8 thousand cubic metres in April. Compared with April 2015, production was 4.7% higher.
Sawmills shipped 5 652.6 thousand cubic metres of lumber in April, down 2.3% from March, but up 4.0% from April 2015.
