Note to readers
Content and methodology changes were made to the Monthly Electricity Supply and Disposition Survey to provide readers with more detailed industry data.
The changes to the survey were implemented as part of Statistics Canada's Integrated Business Statistics Program. For more information, consult the document Monthly Electricity Supply and Disposition Survey.
As a result of the content changes to the monthly electricity survey, new CANSIM tables will be introduced in late 2016. In the interim, existing CANSIM tables 127-0002 and 127-0003 will be updated at a later date and will contain minor changes.
In CANSIM table 127-0002, conventional steam turbine, internal combustion turbine and combustion turbine will be combined into one category: total electricity production from combustible fuels.
In CANSIM table 127-0003, the categories pertaining to total firm deliveries, total non-firm deliveries, total other deliveries to the United States and other receipts from the United States will be removed.
