  Note to readers

The computer and peripherals price indexes are monthly series that measure the changes over time in the price of computers, computer peripherals and smartphones sold to governments, businesses and households. With each release, data for the previous six months may have been revised. The indexes are not seasonally adjusted.

These indexes are available at the Canada level only.

With the release of August 2016, the methodology and the structure of the index have been modified, notably with the introduction of new indexes for tablets, smartphones and computer peripherals sold to households.
