The publication Canadian Cancer Statistics 2016 will be released on October 19, 2016, at 3:01 a.m. (Eastern standard time) on the Canadian Cancer Society website.
This annual publication presents information on cancer incidence, mortality and survival, as well as other measures for the most common types of cancers. The burden of human papilloma virus (HPV)-associated cancers in Canada is a special topic in this year's publication.
Canadian Cancer Statistics 2016 was prepared in partnership by Statistics Canada, the Canadian Cancer Society, the Public Health Agency of Canada, and provincial and territorial cancer registries. For more information on the publication, visit the Canadian Cancer Society website.
