Egg production in September increased 8.9% from the same month a year earlier to 63.1 million dozen.
In October, placements of hatchery chicks on farms decreased 3.4% compared with the same month a year earlier to 62.1 million birds.
Stocks of frozen poultry meat in cold storage on November 1 increased 15.9% from the same date a year earlier to 86 948 tonnes.
