The Couriers and Messengers Services Price Index (CMSPI) increased 1.6% in February. The couriers component rose 1.6% while the local messengers and local delivery component increased 1.5%.
Year-over-year change
The CMSPI rose 6.8% in February compared with the same month a year earlier. The couriers component increased 7.5%, while the local delivery component rose 3.3%.

The Couriers and Messengers Services Price Index is a monthly index that measures the price changes for courier and messenger services provided by long- and short-distance delivery companies to Canadian-based business clients.
Data are available at the Canada level only.
With each release, data for the previous six months may have been revised. The index is not seasonally adjusted.
