Production and value of ranch-raised pelts, 2016
There were 2.1 million ranch-raised fur pelts in 2016, compared with 3.3 million pelts in 2015.
The total value of these fur pelts decreased 23.7% from the previous year to $75.1 million as a result of lower production.

Data on the production and value of ranch-raised pelts have been revised back to 2015, following the release of data from the 2016 Census of Agriculture.
