Canadian manufacturers produced 2.0 billion cigarettes in October, up 19.0% from September. Cigarette production increased 5.2% compared with the same month a year earlier.
Compared with September, the total number of cigarettes sold increased 0.6% to 1.8 billion, up 6.6% from October 2016.
