Shipments of ammonium sulfate to the Prairies increased by 42 000 tonnes (+13.0%) to 365 000 tonnes in the second quarter of the 2017/2018 fertilizer year compared with the same quarter a year earlier.
Canadian ammonia production reached 2 169 000 tonnes in the second quarter of the 2017/2018 fertilizer year, down 11.0% compared with the same period a year earlier.
