OTTAWA – Statistics Canada encourages all households that received the National Household Survey (NHS) to complete their questionnaire.

Now that postal services have resumed, questionnaires can be returned by mail.  Questionnaires can also be completed online at www.NHS.statcan.gc.ca.

Communities need the information from the NHS for planning services such as child care, schooling, family services, housing, roads and public transportation, and training for knowledge and skills required for employment.

Households should call the Help Line at 1-877-308-2777 if they need assistance to complete their NHS.  TTY users may call 1-866-753-7083.

Personal information provided on the NHS is protected by law.

Statistics Canada thanks everyone who has already completed the National Household Survey.
