Changes To The CAED Application

C01. OTHER EXPORT DETAILS - CUSTOMS OFFICE (bug fix)

In some situations, it was possible to save the customs office field without selecting a value from the drop down list.

C02. SERVICE PROVIDER VALIDATION (bug fix)

When a service provider is used, the following service provider fields must contain at least 1 non whitespace character:

Service Provider Name
Service Provider Authorization ID
Service Provider Street Address
Service Provider City
Service Provider Country
Service Provider Telephone

C03. DATA LOADING MODULE - CAED FORM ID (bug fix)

When loading a form into CAED using the Data Loading Module, the assigned CAED form id may be incorrect if the loaded form is the first form in a new calendar year.

C04. FIREWALL PORT NUMBER (bug fix)

The port number field found inTransmission Options - >Advanced - >Firewall was resetto 0 when a firewall port number was entered using the "manual" option. Valid port numbers start at 1.

C05. CAED INSTALLATION

The amount of time required to install the CAED application has been reduced for some client configurations.

C06. CAED ENCRYPTION

The default encryption format used to secure export declarations for transmission has changed.

In case of unexpected errors, the CAED Helpline will provide instructions on configuring CAED to use the previous (CAED 2012)encryption format.

Clients *ARE NOT* to change the default encryption format used unless instructed to do so by the CAED Helpline.
