Completed access to information requests
Statistics Canada posts summaries of completed Access to Information requests processed by its Access to Information and Privacy (ATIP) Office.
The following link contains summaries of completed requests "Completed Access to Information Requests". The list is provided in chronological order, by year, by month, by request number, by text. Requests made under the Privacy Act, requests transferred to another government institution, requests abandoned and made under the Access to Information Act that are uniquely of interest to the requester and contain primarily personal information of the requester are not included.

The Government of Canada is working hard to enhance the role of Parliament and the proactive disclosure of information so that Canadians are better able to hold Parliament, their Government, and public sector officials to account.
To this end, the government announced the mandatory publication on departmental websites of travel and hospitality expenses for selected government officials; contracts entered into by the Government of Canada for amounts over $10,000 (with only limited exceptions such as national security); the reclassification of positions; and, most recently, the disclosure of grants and contributions for amounts over $25,000 (with limited exceptions similar to those applying to contracts).
Statistics Canada also discloses the following information related to its operations: temporary help, call-ups, entered into for amounts less than $10,000.
Please note that information that would normally be withheld under the Access to Information Act or the Privacy Act does not appear on this website.
