Reconvictions were examined for up to four years, from 2015/2016 to 2018/2019. Findings are disaggregated by age, gender, criminal history and population group, including Indigenous, Black and other racialized groups. This study is based on linked data from the Canadian Correctional Services Survey, Integrated Criminal Court Survey and Canadian Vital Statistics - Death database.
