Software demonstration

Statistics Canada and Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) have jointly developed a user friendly "Windows" based software.

The functionality of the Canadian Automated Export Declaration (CAED) software includes screens that can be memorized, pull down menus, and keyword search based Harmonized System (HS) coding at the 8-digit level.

Upon completion of the export declaration, the software allows exporters to submit their declarations via the Internet (either by FTP or encrypted e-mail attachment) and to print.

This software is available free of charge to all exporters (and their agents) upon completion of the registration process.
