Classroom instructions
Have students work in pairs (one computer-literate and one not) until all students are on individual machines.
Assign each student to an area or region of the United States that was affected by the ice storm. Students should start their search at the area's/region's tourist pages.
Have students try to match the U.S. data to our Canadian data.
Have students explore reasons for their results.
Challenge students to get primary data.
