OverviewThis microdata file was created from the 1997-1998 Health Behaviour in School-aged Children (HBSC) survey in Canada. The survey was conducted by Queen's University and was funded through the Public Health Agency of Canada. These data are not Statistics Canada information.
This file contains a subset of 89 variables from the HBSC survey, which was administered to over 11,000 Canadian children in Grades 6 to 10. The Canadian survey is part of a cross-national survey headed by the World Health Organization, which studies the health behaviour of children aged 11, 13 and 15 years in more than 40 countries around the world.
