"Both Fathom and Excel formats (of the NLSCY synthetic microdata) look terrific. They are well laid out, the attributes are easy to understand, nicely organized, and you can refer to the actually questionnaire if needed. There are some very interesting attributes and relationships to explore. I'm almost wishing I could introduce this dataset to my class tomorrow and see what they do with it, but we all need a summer vacation, so I'll have to wait until September. It looks like a very exciting dataset to explore!"
