Environmental science case study development

Overview/Abstract

This assignment is designed for a curriculum and instruction class in a teacher education program. Environmental science students develop a case study related to the major curriculum unit they are developing. The case study must involve a brief introduction to an issue, then selection of environmental data from the Statistics Canada website (or other sources), and finally development of a series of questions related to the data for an environmental science class. This assignment has worked well and should be transferable to other sites and other curriculum areas.
