Urban Economics

Economics 3P18
Term Paper Topics - Fall Term, 1997

Overview / Abstract

This term paper assignment is designed for use in a 3rd year Urban Economics course. It is valued at 30% of the total course mark. The students review the literature on selected topics and then test theories with actual data from the census. The assignment, which draws census of population data from E-STAT, has worked well in this course, and could be easily adapted to other courses at other sites.
