Inflation rate eases

Canada’s rate of inflation, as measured by the Consumer Price Index, slowed slightly to 2.3% in July despite another jump in gasoline prices.    more >>

SPOTLIGHT: Cattlemen in crisis

This week’s Spotlight is on the crisis for Canadian cattlemen, a little over a year after the discovery of mad cow disease prompted the United States and other nations to restrict cattle and beef imports.
