Surging exports drive economy
Boosted
by a large increase in exports, real gross domestic product (GDP) grew
at its fastest pace in more than two years in the second quarter of 2004.

helped reduce the international travel deficit in the second quarter.

in 2004 as higher crop revenues offset continued declines for
