Jobless rate holds steady

Canada’s unemployment rate held stable at 7.2% in August as the number of jobs changed little for the second consecutive month.    more >>

Industries took advantage of soaring exports to increase their capacity utilization for the third consecutive quarter between April and June, even though domestic demand improved only slightly.    more >>
