Record high factory shipments

FACTORY shipments rose for the eighth consecutive month in July, hitting a record high, led primarily by price increases in key industries such as petroleum, chemicals, wood and primary metals.    more >>

LABOUR productivity in Canada's business sector inched up between April and June, as economic output and hours worked grew at almost the same pace.
