Chart 2  Sports participation is highest for children in high income families

This chart shows the percent of children aged 5 to 14 who regularly participate in organized sports in five vertical bars representing the five adjusted household income quintiles and a sixth bar for children where their household income is not reported. The data show that children in the top three adjusted household income quintiles are more likely to be sports participants than those from the lowest adjusted household income quintile.
