This chart shows the top twenty languages other than English or French used by immigrants at work. It has a bar for each language listed in the order of the number who use it. Each bar is stacked or divided into three portions according to the number who use only this non-official language, the number who use it mostly and the number who use it also along with English and or French. Unspecified Chinese languages is listed first (over 100,000 immigrants said they used a Chinese language but did not specify which one). Next is Cantonese followed Punjabi, Spanish, Mandarin and Italian. Full details are below in tabular form.
