This selection of charts provides an overview of price data. Topics include the Consumer price index and various price indexes at industry level. The Consumer price index (CPI) is a measure of the rate of price change for goods and services bought by Canadian consumers. It is the most widely used indicator of price changes in Canada. All the series reported were retrieved from CANSIM, the Socio-Economic Information System.
