Longitudinal Worker File (LWF)

Record of employment (ROE) files provided by HRDC is linked with the LEAP and T4 Supplementary Tax file from CCRA to create a 10% longitudinal file. This file is used to examine labour adjustments and unemployment issues for all major industries. T1 tax files are used to obtain the age and sex of the worker.

Period covered: 1983 - 2000.

LEAP T2

This data set is produced by linking the LEAP file to the T2 tax data of incorporated companies. This file includes variables on financial performance (assets, sales, equity, working capital, inventory, salary & wages, revenue and profits).

Period covered: 1984 to 1998.
