Chart 2.1 is a line chart showing the average net operating income per farm, by revenue class, from 2000 to 2010.

Farms with incomes of $500,000 and over showed the largest gain in average income, from $160,266 in 2000 to $249,362 in 2010.

Farms with incomes from $250,000 to $499,999 grew from an average income of $63,294 to $75,895.

Farms with incomes from $100,000 to $249,999 grew from $32,749 to $32,921.

Farms with incomes from $50,000 to $99,999 fell from $13,190 to $10,527.

Farms with incomes of $10,000 to $49,000 fell from $1,646 to negative $1,617.
