The 2009 Households and the Environment Survey (HES) was a cooperative project jointly managed by the Environment Accounts and Statistics Division under the direction of Robert Smith, Director and John Marshall, Chief, Environmental Protection Accounts and Surveys, and Special Surveys Division under the direction of Jacqueline Mayda, Director and Charles Delorme, Chief, Education Surveys. Data Collection for the survey was conducted by the Collection Planning and Management Division under the direction of Duncan Wrighte, Director.

The HES 2009 Project team consisted of the following:
