With the first quarter 2007 release of the National Tourism Indicators (NTI), the estimates will be revised from 2001 through to 2006. These data revisions will reflect the incorporation of updated Tourism Satellite Account 2002 benchmarks and other source data.

In addition, all data series expressed at 1997 prices (i.e., adjusted for inflation) will be rebased to the 2002 reference year. This is in line with re-referencing of the volume and price estimates in the national income and expenditure accounts to be published with their first quarter 2007 release. This change will affect NTI estimates adjusted for inflation from 1986 to date. The existing CANSIM vector identifiers for the constant price NTI estimates will be retained.
