• Refinery production of petroleum products totalled 8,700.7 thousand cubic metres in May, down 14.5 % from the same month a year earlier.
• Crude oil and equivalent receipts by refineries totalled 7,465.0 thousand cubic metres in May, down 1,287.9 thousand cubic metres or 14.7 % from a year earlier as a result of a major refinery turnaround in Eastern Canada.
• Domestic sales of refined petroleum products in May totalled 8,332.7 thousand cubic metres, down 2.5 % from a year earlier.
• Refined petroleum product inventories at 9,622.2 thousand cubic metres were down by 638.3 thousand cubic metres or 6.2 % from a year earlier.
